Cambridge University Press officially announces that from 2017 it will have the honour of publishing Slavic Review: Interdisciplinary Quarterly of Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies, the journal of the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES).
Published since 1941, Slavic Review is an international interdisciplinary journal devoted to the study of eastern Europe, Russia, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, past and present. The journal publishes articles from all disciplines containing original and significant research and interpretation, reviews of scholarly books and films, and topical review essays and discussion forums.
Lynda Park, Executive Director of ASEEES, said, “The decision to work in partnership with Cambridge University Press forms an important part of ASEEES’ plans to reach its goals over the coming years. The prospect of expanding the global readership of Slavic Review and growing our membership base is extremely exciting and we’re eager to publish our first issue with Cambridge.”
Ella Colvin, Director of Publishing, Academic, at Cambridge University Press said, “I am delighted that ASEEES selected Cambridge University Press as their publishing partner for Slavic Review. This not only further strengthens our growing list of interdisciplinary and area studies titles, but also emphasises the commitment Cambridge University Press has to publishing the finest scholarship. We look forward to working with the team at ASEEES to achieve our combined goals.”
