New Member Portal FAQ

ASEEES launched a new member portal on November 16, 2022 to improve the member experience. You can now renew your  membership through the new system.

Profiles of current members and those who have ever been members at some point since 2011 have been transferred to the new site.

When you visit the site to login, a box will appear at the bottom of your screen to accept cookies. This is required for you to log in.

You will need to add your Profession Bio if you’re included in a convention proposal. This includes: current position, education (institution, discipline, highest degree earned, year received/ expected to receive); most recent publication or conference paper. For graduate students: indicate current status. There is a 1,000 character limit. This field is required for ASEEES Convention proposal submission and review.

First Time Loggin In

  1. You must create a new password for the new member portal. Your password must be 8-20 characters in length and contain at least one capital letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character. Your username will remain the same, which should be your primary email address that was used to login to the previous member site. You will need to renew your membership before you can make other changes.

If you’re not sure what your username is, click on “Forgot Your Password?” on the homepage and enter your email address. If you do not receive an email with information on how to change the password, please contact us

  2. Enter your brief professional biography
If you plan to be part of the Convention submission process, you must enter your “Professional Biography.” There is a limit of 1000 characters. Please do not copy and paste your entire CV.

  3. If you have a joint member in your household, here are the instructions on adding that member as a joint member to your account.

How do I renew my membership?

You should see a “renew membership” link in your profile, but if you do not, go to Payments & History and click on “Membership”. From there, you can choose the membership type and pay.

If you membership has expired, you may see a notice that says “Account Suspended due to Membership Expiration.” This is an automated notice in the system. You can still log in and renew your memberhip.

How do I create a profile in the system as a non-member?

Click on Join Now on the homepage, scroll down the Join Now page to Guest Non-member and then register your profile and enter information. You do not need to pay membership dues to create this profile.
