In-Person vs Virtual FAQS

Due to the evolving circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic there will be both In-Person and Virtual Conventions this year. The In-Person Convention in New Orleans will be held November 18-21, 2021 and the Virtual Convention on December 1-3, 2021. Participants in the In-Person Convention in New Orleans will receive complimentary registration for the Virtual Convention.

We continue to evaluate health guidelines and In-Person Convention set-up and will make adjustments as necessary.

When purchasing your registration, there are options for both “In-Person+Virtual” and “Virtual Convention Only.”  Registration ends October 13th. Please purchase your registration only when you’re sure of how your session will present.

Due to the changing conditions internationally with COVID, we have received questions when one member of a session is unable to attend in-person.  We are evaluating these situations on a case by case basis.  Please email aseees.convention@pitt.edu with concerns about your session.
