She handles the annual convention proposal submissions and the convention program changes and edits. She is not responsible for proposal reviews nor scheduling. Questions about the convention participation rules should be directed to the Convention Manager.
Theodora "Kelly" McGee received her PhD in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Pittsburgh. Her dissertation explores the celebrity icon in Soviet culture during the Khrushchev Thaw. She has a M.A. in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies from the University of Michigan, and a dual B.A. in Slavic & East European Studies and Russian from West Virginia University. Kelly participated in the Fulbright-Hays Program, "Russian Teachers for the 21st Century," which provided professional development for U.S. teachers of Russian language. She was the Resident Director for the University of Pittsburgh's Project GO program, a Department of Defense initiative that fosters language study for ROTC students.
