The group’s objective is to serve as a networking resource; to promote interdisciplinary exchange between museum professionals and specialists in art history, history, literature, and related fields; to advance museum studies through research, sponsored panels, publications, and teaching; and to further knowledge of the rich material culture in the countries of Eurasia and adjacent regions.
