Design a new logo for ASEEES, win a free year of membership!
Same great association, new name and logo . . .
Following our all-membership vote and bylaw changes, the AAASS is now ASEEES, the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies. We need a new logo for our new public face!
Design the winning logo and receive a free association membership for one year. The new logo will replace the current logo and will appear on stationery, webpages, business cards, and official publications of ASEEES.
Submission guide:
- Competition is open only to members of the association.
- All entries should be submitted in electronic format. All submissions should be completed as vector art and saved as an EPS file. Linked files should be embedded and all type outlined. A low resolution PDF file should also be sent for review.
- The logo should incorporate the traditional colors of the organization found also on the cover of Slavic Review: red, black, and white.
- Entries should bear no identifying designer/author marks. Designer name and contact information should be provided in the text of the entry email.
- All entries will be acknowledged upon receipt. All entries become property of the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies and the Association will hold copyright on the winning logo. Entries will not be returned.
The deadline for submission will be: September 15, 2010.
Selection Details:
A committee of five members drawn from the association’s Executive and Communications Committees will choose the winning entry. The winner will be announced at the November 2010 Annual meeting. The Association reserves the right to decline to choose a logo from among the entries.
