Awards Buffet, Saturday, November 17, 2012:
The buffet, featuring hearty hors d'ouvres and a cash bar, precedes the ASEEES awards presentation and president's adddress.* Please purchase your ticket by October 10. A few reserve buffet tickets may be on sale on the first day of the convention only.

Buffet Ticket: $20 for student; $45 for non-student

*You do not need a buffet ticket to attend the awards presentation and president's address, which is open to all convention attendees.

General Rules for Convention Participants

All participants who are Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies scholars living in the U.S. must be current ASEEES members. Only foreign scholars and scholars outside the field of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies do not need to join ASEEES, but must register for the convention at th non-member rate. If you are not currently a member or have not renewed your membership for the current calendar year, you must do so in order to attend the convention. (Learn more about membership in ASEEES)

All participants on panels/roundtables, members and non-members, must preregister by the deadline and pay the registration fee. In order to have the participants' name appear in the Convention Program Index, you must pre-register by September 21.

Refund Policy

All refund requests for the convention registration fee and/or buffet ticket must be made in writing by e-mail to aseees@pitt.edu (preferable), or by fax to (412) 648-9815.

Refund requests received on or before September 15, 2012 will be refunded 100% of your registration fee, less a $20 administrative fee to cover the cost of processing. Cancellations received between September 16 and October 15, 2012 will be refunded 50% of your registration fee, less a $20 administrative fee. Refunds will not be available for cancellations made after October 15, 2012, or for no shows. No exceptions. All refunds will be issued after the annual convention.
