The registration period ends a month before the convention in order to allow us time to prepare attendee badges and other materials. After October 14, you must register onsite at the Convention, for an added fee (see below). All convention participants, including panelists, discussants, and roundtable participants, must preregister.
|2016 Convention Registration Fees|
|Register by Aug 19||Register by Oct 14||Register
|Member income under $30K||$47||$52||$62|
|Non-member income under $30K||$67||$72||$82|
Undergraduate students who wish to attend without participating (i.e., are not listed in the program) may register for the convention for $20. Student ID verification will be required. Contact email@example.com with any questions.
You must pre-register by September 30 to have your name listed in the Convention Program Index of Participants. (If you are registering by mail, it must be received on or before September 30.)
The buffet, featuring hearty hors d'ouvres and a cash bar, precedes the ASEEES awards presentation and president's adddress. You can purchase your ticket as you register for the convention. If you are already registered, you may also use this link to purchase the tickets only (you must be logged in to view the items). Please purchase your ticket by October 14. A few reserve buffet tickets may be on sale on the first day of the convention only. You do not need a buffet ticket to attend the awards presentation and president's address, which are open to all convention attendees.
Buffet Tickets: $48 for non-students / $24 for students
The student buffet ticket is only available to those who are registered for the convention at the student rate.
All participants - session chairs, discussants, paper presenters and roundtable members - who are Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies scholars in the US and abroad must be current ASEEES members. If you are not currently a member or have not renewed your membership for the current calendar year, you must do so upon receiving notification of proposal acceptance, which should be announced in late April.
Only scholars and professionals outside the field of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian studies are not required to join ASEEES, but must register for the convention at the non-member rate. Please note that it is cheaper to join at the Affiliate member level than to pay for non-member regular registration fee. Please consider becoming a member. (Learn more about membership in ASEEES)
All participants on panels/roundtables, members and non-members, must preregister and pay the registration fee. Please note that membership dues payment is not the same as registering for the convention.
Exhibitors with an exhibitor badge do not need to register for the convention. If an exhibitor is participating on a panel/roundtable, she or he must notify ASEEES of this status at firstname.lastname@example.org by the participant pre-registration deadline (usually Sept. 30).
